Courses Offered at BVICAM

The MCA programme is a 2-year postgraduate course with a sanctioned intake of 120 seats. Admission is offered through NIMCET (1st preference), GGSIPU CET Code-105 (2nd preference), or CUET (3rd preference), followed by GGSIP University's centralised counselling. The programme has been running continuously since the 2002-2003 academic session and covers core areas of computer applications such as programming, data structures, database management, software engineering, and emerging technologies, with the total course fee for General category candidates ranging between approximately ₹4,76,440 and ₹4,96,440 depending on the applicable fee structure and one-time charges in the first year.

The BA(JMC) programme is a 4-year undergraduate course with a total intake of 240 seats, split as 120 seats each across two shifts. Admission is offered through GGSIPU CET Code-126 (1st preference) or CUET UG (2nd preference), followed by centralised counselling. Introduced from the 2021-2022 academic session as part of BVICAM's response to NEP-2020's multidisciplinary approach, the programme combines classroom learning in journalism, mass communication, and media studies with practical exposure to reporting, editing, and production, and carries a total course fee for General category candidates of approximately ₹6,92,880 to ₹6,94,880.

Across both programmes, 90% of seats are filled through GGSIP University's centralised counselling process based on entrance exam rank, while the remaining 10% are reserved for a Management Category filled by the Institute on merit from among candidates who hold a valid rank in the relevant entrance exam. Fee figures for both courses are as per the official Fee Structure page and are recommended by the State Fee Regulatory Committee (SFRC), Govt. of NCT of Delhi, and remain subject to periodic revision.

Prospective applicants are advised to check the current-year

admission eligibility criteria, confirm seat availability directly with the Institute, and review the detailed fee structure and category-wise entrance exam cutoffs before applying, since exact figures can change from one academic session to the next.
