CRKIMR offers one primary postgraduate management programme โ€” the two-year, full-time Master of Management Studies (MMS) โ€” affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE, alongside a University of Mumbai-recognised Ph.D. programme in Management for doctoral research. The MMS programme is structured across four semesters and is designed to build a broad general-management foundation in the first year before students choose a functional specialisation for the second year of the course.

Eligibility for MMS admission requires a Bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state), along with a valid score in the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET or an accepted alternative examination such as CAT, MAT or CMAT, as mandated by the competent authority from year to year. Final-year Bachelor's students awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to confirmation of the qualifying degree at the time of admission.

The approved annual intake for MMS is 120 seats. Of these, 96 seats are filled through the DTE's Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and 24 seats through Institute Level admission based on the inter-se merit of CET scores. Additional seats are sanctioned over and above this base intake for reserved categories โ€” 1 seat under the J&K Quota, 12 seats under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category, and 6 seats under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) โ€” all filled through the CAP process rather than directly by the institute.

Separately, CRKIMR is recognised by the University of Mumbai as a Ph.D. Research Centre for management studies. Candidates for the doctoral programme must hold a minimum of 55% marks (or CGPA equivalent to B+) at the Master's level, clear the University's Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) โ€” held twice yearly โ€” and subsequently clear an interview before the institute's Ph.D. Interview Committee, unless exempted under GATE/NET/SET/JRF or equivalent teaching-experience provisions.

Ph.D. scholars at CRKIMR are additionally required to complete a mandatory six-month course work module conducted by the institute before proceeding to full-time research, unless they hold an M.Phil. from the University of Mumbai (or an equivalent UGC-recognised university) registered before 11th July 2009. All research students must renew their admission each academic term, countersigned by their guiding teacher and the head of department, in line with University of Mumbai research-scholar norms. Full details of the current course-wise fees and eligibility are listed on the courses page.
