The campus spans 58 acres and features modern academic infrastructure including spacious lecture halls, dedicated demonstration rooms, an examination hall, and fully equipped laboratories. The attached teaching hospital โ€” Aralaguppe Mallegowda District Hospital โ€” has over 400 beds, offering round-the-clock emergency services, OPD and IPD facilities, and clinical exposure across a wide range of specialties including General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis, ENT, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Forensic Medicine. CIMS is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college is co-educational with a student count of approximately 252 and is located near Azad Park Circle, Chikkamagaluru โ€” approximately 4.3 km from Chikkamagaluru railway station and 3.7 km from Chikmagalur Airfield.
