Admission Process at Dhabaleswar Institute of Polytechnic
- Register on the Odisha DET/SAMS diploma admission portal and fill the Common Application Form
- Select branch and college preferences, including Dhabaleswar Institute of Polytechnic
- Merit list/seat allotment is published based on Class 10 qualifying marks
- Report to the allotted college with original documents for verification
- Pay the fee as fixed by the Fee Structure Committee, Odisha, to confirm the seat
- For Lateral Entry (2nd Year), eligible +2 Science or ITI-pass candidates apply through the same SAMS portal under the Lateral Entry category
Minimum eligibility for regular admission is a pass in Class 10 (HSC) or an equivalent exam with at least 35% aggregate marks, including a minimum of 30% each in Science, Mathematics and English. Lateral Entry into the second year requires a pass in 10+2 Science (with Mathematics), 10+2 with a Technical/Vocational subject, or 10th plus a 2-year ITI course in a relevant trade.
