It is managed by the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust, founded by Shri. A. Srinivasan, and is affiliated with Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, a state private university established under the Tamil Nadu Private Universities Act, 2019. Recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the institute offers 150 MBBS seats per academic year. Set on a beautifully landscaped campus of over 25 acres, it features fully air-conditioned lecture theaters seating 200 students, seven demonstration rooms, a centrally air-conditioned library with 4,500+ medical books, and separate hostels for boys and girls. The attached teaching hospital offers multi-specialty care serving the needs of Perambalur, Trichy, and surrounding rural districts. As a newly established institution, it currently offers only the undergraduate MBBS program.
