Dr. KNS Memorial Institute of Medical Sciences (KNSMIMS), formerly known as Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) Barabanki, is a premier private medical college established in 2012 and renamed in memory of the late K. N. Singh. Run by Bodhisatva Charitable Trust, the college is affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), Faizabad (Ayodhya), and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). KNSMIMS is the first institute to have a Trauma Centre in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Located at Faizabad Road, Gadia, Barabanki – 225001, approximately 22 km from Lucknow on NH-28, the college offers 250 MBBS seats, postgraduate MD/MS courses across multiple specialties (MS General Surgery 9 seats, MD Paediatrics 7 seats, and more), B.Sc Nursing, ANM, GNM, and various paramedical programmes.
