ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Indore, is Madhya Pradesh's first and only ESIC medical college, established under the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Situated in Nanda Nagar, Indore, the hospital has been providing healthcare services to ESI beneficiaries and the general public since its establishment (approximately 2017). In a landmark development, the National Medical Commission (NMC) granted a Letter of Permission (LoP) to start the MBBS program with 50 seats from AY 2025-26, making it the newest MBBS-granting institution in Madhya Pradesh. Although 100 seats were applied for, NMC approved 50 due to certain faculty and infrastructure requirements being under development at the time of inspection. The college participates exclusively in MCC All India Quota counselling with an additional ESIC Insured Persons (IP) quota. Prior to MBBS approval, the hospital offered DNB (Diplomate of National Board) programs. Affiliated with MPMSU, Jabalpur, the college benefits from ESI's pan-India healthcare infrastructure.

ESIC Medical College Indore received its Letter of Permission (LoP) from the NMC in October 2025 to start 50 MBBS seats from AY 2025-26. It is the first ESIC medical college in Madhya Pradesh. The hospital has been operational since approximately 2017.

ESIC Indore has 50 MBBS seats from AY 2025-26. NMC approved 50 seats (though 100 were applied for) citing some incomplete faculty and infrastructure requirements at the time of inspection. Seats are expected to increase in subsequent years.

ESIC medical colleges have highly affordable fees. Approximate annual tuition fee is INR 50,000 for AIQ general candidates and significantly subsidized (approximately INR 15,000/year) for ESIC Insured Persons (IP) quota beneficiaries. Total course fee approximately INR 2.5–3 lakh for 5 years, making it one of the most affordable medical colleges in MP.

The ESIC IP (Insured Persons) quota is a special reservation for children of ESIC scheme beneficiaries. Eligible students must obtain an IP Certificate (Annexure 3A/3B) from the local ESIC office. IP quota seats are offered at heavily subsidized fees. Approximately 466 IP seats are reserved nationally across all ESIC medical colleges.
