The Faculty of Indian Medical System (FIMS) was established in 2015 as a constituent faculty of SGT University, Gurgaon. Spread across a 2-acre campus within SGT University's 70-acre expanse, FIMS boasts modern infrastructure tailored to Ayurvedic education. It is dedicated to promoting Ayurveda to meet contemporary healthcare needs, offering multidisciplinary education, state-of-the-art facilities, and hands-on clinical exposure. The faculty is approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). FIMS offers the flagship Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program with an intake capacity of 100 seats. The curriculum is designed to impart both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into Ayurvedic principles like Tridosha and Panchakarma, alongside exposure to modern medical sciences. Students also benefit from workshops and short-term courses on specialized treatments like Kshar Sutra and Agnikarma. Clinical training is heavily supported by the in-house teaching hospital, which features 100 beds and offers exceptional healthcare facilities, including specialized Panchakarma procedures. The college provides a well-rounded learning environment with smart classrooms, advanced laboratories for Dravyaguna and Rasashastra, and a comprehensive library.
