Yes, GBPEC is one of Delhi's oldest (1989) and most respected government engineering colleges under GGSIPU, alongside HMRITM, AIACTR, and Ch. BP Govt Engineering College. It ranks below DTU, NSUT, and IGDTUW but above most private GGSIPU colleges.
