Gitarattan Institute of Advanced Studies and Training (GIAST) is a premier teacher education institute located in Sector-7, Rohini, New Delhi. Established in 1999 under the aegis of the Rohini Educational Society through a bequest made by Sh. R.N. Jindal, GIAST is dedicated to empowering students, particularly women, in higher education. The institute offers a 2-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) affiliated with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Government of Delhi. Both programs are approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
