GLA University is located at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It was started in 1991 by Shri Narayan Das Agrawal, which was the cherished dream of his father, Late Shri Ganeshi Lal Agrawal. Yes, SC/ST students whose parents' annual income is below INR 2 lakh can get scholarships through the social welfare department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) of the UP Government.
Students must maintain a minimum CPI — 8.00 for most undergraduate programs and 6.5 for postgraduate programs — to continue availing the scholarship.
Through the admission procedure, candidates are considered under scholarships automatically; students are later informed about their eligibility on academic grounds.
