By rail: Valsad Railway Station (Western Railway mainline) is approximately 2 km away — excellent connectivity to Mumbai (~4 hours), Surat (~1.5 hours), Vadodara (~3 hours), and Ahmedabad (~4.5 hours). GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Valsad was established in 2012 under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society. The college initially offered 150 MBBS seats and received permission for 200 seats in 2019 (Letter of Permission available on official website). Currently, 200 MBBS students are admitted annually — 170 under State Quota (85%) and 30 under NRI Quota (15%). College Code: VALMED.
