Admission to GNVS Institute of Management is based on the MAH-MBA/MMS CET score and the Maharashtra CAP rounds, so the cutoff changes with every round, category and year. The institute does not publish a single fixed cutoff. Instead, the closing percentile or score of the last candidate allotted in each round is released by the State CET Cell after allotment. The figures below are collected from public education portals and should be used only as a rough guide.

The portal figures use different units, since one reports scores and the other reports ranks, and they do not always agree with each other. The numbers also vary widely between rounds because seats are released and surrendered as candidates move to higher preferences. A low closing value in an early round does not mean that the college is easy to enter, and a higher value in a later round simply shows that remaining seats were filled by candidates with higher scores.
In general, GNVS is considered a mid-range MMS option in Mumbai, and candidates with a moderate MAH-MBA/MMS CET percentile have had a realistic chance in the later CAP rounds. Reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste, OBC, EWS and TFWS have separate closing values, and TFWS has been noticeably higher in the portal data. Candidates should read their own category carefully in the official cutoff list.
To plan an application, candidates should prepare a list of colleges across ambitious, moderate and safe choices, and keep GNVS in the moderate or safe group depending on their percentile. Round-wise cutoffs are published by the State CET Cell after every allotment, and these official lists are the only dependable source. Candidates can also contact the institute to ask about vacancies after the final round, as seats left open may be filled in later rounds. Read the admission process page for the sequence of rounds.
Cutoff alone should not decide the choice of college. A student should compare the approved fee and the reported career outcomes, and should also ask the institute about the results of its recent batches, before making a final preference list. The approved yearly amount is shown on the fee structure page.
