Government Allopathic Medical College, Banda (GAMC Banda), also known as Rani Durgavati Medical College, Banda, is a reputed government medical college established in 2016 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Named after the revered warrior queen Rani Durgavati, the college is located on a 100-acre campus at Village Tindwara, Naraini Road, Banda – 210001, in the Bundelkhand region. Currently affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), GAMC Banda offers 100 MBBS seats and MD/MS PG courses (50% AIQ via MCC NEET-PG + 50% UP State Quota via DMET). The college is equipped with the latest scientific tools, research labs, gallery-type lecture halls, a medical skills lab, departmental museums, cafeteria, recreation halls, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
