Government Medical College, Ananthapuram (popularly known as GMC Anantapur or GMC ATP) is a premier state-run government medical institution located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Teaching Hospital: The college is attached to the Government General Hospital (GGH), Anantapur — a large, multi-specialty teaching hospital with over 800 inpatient beds. The hospital serves patients from Anantapur and the surrounding Rayalaseema region. It houses departments covering all major clinical specialties including General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Emergency & Trauma Care, NICU, PICU, RICU, and an ICU with 50 beds and 12 operation theatres.
