Government Medical College, Khammam (GMC Khammam) is a government medical school and tertiary care hospital established on 18th April 2023 by the Government of Telangana, located at Nehru Nagar, Old Collector Building, ZP Center, Khammam, Telangana – PIN 507002. The college is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The Government General Hospital (GGH), Khammam is the former district hospital and serves as the teaching hospital. It operates under supervision of Medical College Department HODs along with TVVP (Telangana Vaidhya Vidhana Parishad) specialist doctors. It is the headquarters for all Area Hospitals (AH), Community Health Centres (CHC), Primary Health Centres (PHC), and Basti Dawakhanas in and around Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. Services include Central Laboratory, T-Hub Radiology, T-Hub Diagnostics, and approximately 20 Specialist Doctors recognized under TVVP including Super Specialty departments.
