Government Medical College, Krishnagiri (GMCHK), established on 11 March 2021, is a government medical institution under the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. Situated at Block No. 1, Polupalli, Krishnagiri – near the banks of the Thenpennaiyar River and with the scenic backdrop of the Melumalai Hills – the campus offers a serene and academic environment ideally suited for medical education. Affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and recognized by the NMC, the college offers 150 MBBS seats annually and additionally hosts DNB in Emergency Medicine (2 seats) and a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT, 24 seats).
