Government Medical College, Pali (GMC Pali) is a government-run medical institution established in 2018 under the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (Raj-MES). Located on a sprawling 32-acre campus on National Highway 14 in Pali, Rajasthan, the college is affiliated with Marwar Medical University, Jodhpur (formerly RUHS), and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers a 150-seat MBBS programme and select postgraduate MD courses including Pathology, Physiology, and Anatomy. Its teaching hospital is Shri Bangur District Hospital, Pali, which has been upgraded to a 300-bed multi-specialty facility providing round-the-clock emergency and casualty services. The campus houses spacious lecture halls capable of accommodating 200 students, well-equipped clinical laboratories, a 800 sq.mt central library with a digital section, departmental museums, an auditorium, and separate boys' and girls' hostels. Interns are entitled to a monthly stipend and must complete compulsory rural service after graduation. GMC Pali represents a significant step in expanding quality medical education to tier-2 districts of Rajasthan.
