Government Medical College, Quthbullapur (GMC Quthbullapur) is a newly established government medical college located at ECIL Cross Roads, Kushaiguda, in the Medchal-Malkajgiri District of Telangana. It received approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) to commence MBBS admissions from the academic year 2024-25, with an initial intake of 50 seats. The college is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, and is administered by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Telangana. GMC Quthbullapur was established as part of the state government's flagship initiative — led by the Chief Minister and the Health Minister — to open a government medical college in every district of Telangana, thereby expanding access to affordable, quality medical education across the state. OBC certificate must be issued by the concerned Telangana state government only. PWD certificate must be issued by the MCC-authorised medical board for the current year. Discontinuation bond of ₹20 Lakhs on Rs.100 non-judicial stamp paper required at admission.
