GMC Udhampur was established in 2023. It admitted its first MBBS batch in 2023 with 100 seats. Annual renewal permission for 100 MBBS seats was granted for AY 2024-25. Induction ceremony for MBBS Batch 2025-26 was held on 03-10-2025.

100 MBBS seats (since 2023): 15 AIQ (MCC) + 85 J&K UT Quota (JKBOPEE). No management or NRI quota. All seats via NEET only.

Year-wise tuition: 1st year ₹26,250 | 2nd year ₹9,375 | 3rd & 4th year ₹6,250 each | Internship: nil. Total tuition: ₹48,125. Total with all charges: ~₹1,22,000. Hostel charged separately (nominal).
