About Guru Nanak Khalsa College
Guru Nanak Khalsa College (GNKC), established in 1968, is one of the most prestigious and respected degree colleges in Haryana, affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Located in the heart of Yamuna Nagar at City Centre Road, East Bhatia Nagar, GNKC is a non-profit private aided institution that has earned exceptional academic distinction over five decades of service to higher education in the Haryana region. GNKC was the only post-graduate college in Haryana to receive the prestigious NAAC A+ Grade accreditation in 2004. The institution was also declared the Overall Best Non-Government Co-Educational College by Kurukshetra University on account of its brilliant achievements in education, sports, community service, and cultural activities. The UGC has granted INR 1.10 Crore for upgrading the Science departments and INR 60 Lakhs for strengthening the college infrastructure. The institution has been recognised by the UGC as a 'College with Potential for Excellence'. GNKC has won the Governor Award ten times for the promotion of blood donation and sports activities in Haryana — a truly extraordinary social contribution.
