About Ibne Seena Pharmacy College, Hardoi
Ibne Seena Pharmacy College, located at Azmi Vidya Nagri, Anjhi Shahabad, District Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, is a private pharmacy institution established in 2007. The college is run by the Awadh Muslim Education & Welfare Society (AMES Group of Institutions) and was founded as a heartfelt tribute to Ms. Badrun Nisa, the late wife of Mr. Ilyas Azmi, former Member of Parliament from the Shahabad Constituency, District Hardoi. Ms. Badrun Nisa was a visionary and sophisticated lady who was always keen to open educational institutions for imparting knowledge to the socially weaker and backward people, especially for rural education. Sprawling over a lush green campus of more than 20 acres, the college is centrally located adjacent to the main bus stop in Shahabad, just 3 km from the Anjhi-Shahabad Railway Station, making it highly accessible for students from across the region. The college has a combined student strength of approximately 360 students and a faculty team of around 16 experienced professionals. The infrastructure includes well-ventilated lecture rooms, well-equipped pharmaceutical laboratories, a computer lab with modern IT facilities, and a library stocked with textbooks, reference books, and journals. Student welfare is a key priority. Separate newly constructed hostel facilities for boys and girls are available on campus. A guest house for visiting faculty and parents, and a gymnasium for physical fitness are also available. The college is strongly committed to making pharmacy education accessible โ SC candidates are admitted free of cost, with 50% of the fee borne by the Samaj Kalyaan Vibhaag and 50% by the Siddiqui Foundation.
