The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad is a private Deemed-to-be University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, in 2008, and is promoted by the ICFAI Group (founded by the late N. J. Yasaswy). Spread over a 91-acre residential campus at Donthanapally, Shankarapalli Road, Hyderabad, Telangana, IFHE describes itself as one of the largest multi-disciplinary universities in the country, built around three main faculties -- the Faculty of Management (ICFAI Business School/IBS), the Faculty of Science & Technology (ICFAI Tech School) and the Faculty of Law (ICFAI Law School) -- alongside the ICFAI School of Architecture (ISArch) and the ICFAI School of Social Sciences (ISoSS). IFHE also runs an off-campus centre in Bengaluru and offers online/distance BBA and MBA programs through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). IFHE holds a NAAC 'A++' accreditation (Institutional CGPA 3.59/4.00) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad is AACSB-accredited (one of a small number of Indian B-Schools with this distinction), SAQS-accredited, and an EFMD affiliate member; the university's Law, Engineering/Science and Architecture programs are separately approved by the Bar Council of India, AICTE and the Council of Architecture respectively. Across its constituent schools, IFHE offers UG, PG and doctoral programs including the flagship two-year MBA and BBA (Hons.) at IBS; B.Tech (in Computer Science and allied specialisations including AI, AI & ML, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Electronics & Communication/Mechanical Engineering), B.Sc, BCA and M.Tech/M.Sc at ICFAI Tech School; the five-year B.Arch at ISArch; the five-year integrated BA-LLB (Hons.), BBA-LLB (Hons.) and BAJ-LLB (Hons.), plus a one-year LLM, at ICFAI Law School; and BA (Economics), B.Sc (Psychology), B.Sc (Economics & Data Science) and B.Com at ISoSS. Admission to the MBA is through IBSAT/CAT/XAT/NMAT by GMAC/GMAT, to engineering and science UG programs through the university's own ATIT test, to law programs through ILSAT, and to B.Arch through NATA or JEE Paper II.
