Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota (IIIT Kota) is a premier Institute of National Importance established in 2013 as a joint venture under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, the Government of Rajasthan, and active industry partners including CAIRN India Ltd., VAKRANGI Software, GENPACT, and NEI Ltd. Mentored initially by Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, IIIT Kota has grown steadily with a strong focus on IT and engineering education. A landmark development in 2023 marked the institute's shift to its permanent campus located at the RIICO Industrial Area in Ranpur, Kota. The campus is equipped with modern academic buildings, dedicated hostels, a library, medical facilities, and sports grounds.
