Admission to the two-year MBA is through CAT, followed by a Writing Ability Test and a Personal Interview. The published admission policy for the batch 2027-29, which uses CAT 2026, requires a bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA, or 45 percent for SC, ST and PwD candidates, and candidates in the final year may be admitted provisionally if they submit a certificate by 30 June 2027 and their mark sheets by 30 September 2027. In Stage I, candidates must meet minimum overall and sectional CAT percentiles and secure non-negative raw scores in all sections. In Stage II, a composite score of 85 points decides who is called for the interview and writing test, using 56 points for the CAT score, 10 for Class 10 marks, 15 for Class 12 marks and 4 points for gender diversity for female and transgender candidates.
