Admission Process
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for reserved categories) from a recognised university. Final-year students awaiting results may apply provisionally, subject to submission of final marks and degree certificates by stipulated deadlines.
Shortlisting, WAT and Personal Interview
For the 2025 cycle, IIM Raipur's general category cutoff for interview shortlisting was around 80 overall percentile, with sectional cutoffs of 70 percentile each in VARC, DILR, and Quantitative Aptitude, though actual calls often went to applicants scoring 85 percentile or above given demand. Shortlisted candidates undergo a Written Ability Test and Personal Interview, with final selection based on a composite score.
Joint Admission Process (JAP)
From 2026, IIM Raipur conducts admissions through a Joint Admission Process (JAP) alongside IIM Ranchi, IIM Trichy, and IIM Kashipur, allowing applicants to apply once through a single process and be considered across all four institutes based on their final merit list standing and preference.
