Admission to the PGP follows IIMV's own independent three-phase process. Phase 1 shortlists candidates based on CAT sectional and overall percentile cut-offs (for the 2026-28 batch, the General category cut-off was 82 overall with 70 percentile in each section). Phase 2 computes a composite pre-PI score using CAT (50 points), Class 10 (10), Class 12 (10), Bachelor's degree (10), Gender Diversity (10) and Work Experience/Professional Course (10). Phase 3 combines the Personal Interview (48 points), CAT (25), Class 10 (4), Class 12 (4), Bachelor's (4), Diversity (5) and Work Experience (10) to prepare the final merit list.
