MHRD/AICTE provides a monthly fellowship of INR 12,400 to all GATE-qualified M.Tech students for the first 21 months of the program, effectively offsetting tuition and living costs.

Two-thirds of the annual tuition fee is remitted for students from middle-income economically backward families.

The MCM scholarship supports academically strong but financially constrained students pursuing BTech at IIT Goa. Reviewed annually based on academic performance and income documentation.

A unique interest-free loan program offered by IIT Goa to support students whose families have limited income. The loan is repayable over 5 years (60 equal monthly installments) after the student completes their course.

Full tuition fee remission for the most economically disadvantaged students, ensuring access to IIT education regardless of financial background.

As per Government of India norms, all SC/ST students at IIT Goa receive a full tuition fee waiver. Additionally, free mess facilities and a pocket allowance are provided. Hostel room rent may also be waived for students whose parental income meets the eligibility criteria.

Government-funded internship stipend through the National Supercomputing Mission of India, offered at IIT Goa's NSM Nodal Center for training in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence.
