Admissions at IPER are conducted through state government counselling, so there is no separate institute-level entrance test. MBA admissions run through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh, which usually starts the process in June-July. Candidates apply on the ePravesh counselling portal, and eligible graduates with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) can participate using a CMAT score or their qualifying-exam percentage. The DTE sends the candidate list to the campus, where the candidate confirms the seat and deposits the fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC) from a UGC/AICTE-approved Indian university or AIU-recognised foreign university. Final-year students can appear in counselling.

Admission Process

1. Appear in CMAT (AICTE, usually January) or apply on qualifying-exam percentage. 2. Register on the DTE Madhya Pradesh ePravesh counselling portal when the schedule is declared (generally June-July). 3. DTE sends the candidate list to IPER. 4. Candidate confirms candidature at the campus and deposits the fee. Reservation as per DTE guidelines; tuition fee waiver and EWS seats as per DTE norms.

Important Notice

Admission Process at IPER Bhopal

For BBA, admission is based purely on 12th marks through the DTE online counselling: registration and choice filling on MPOnline, online verification (or physical document verification at the government help desk), merit list declaration and finally physical reporting with fee payment at the allotted college. B.Com follows the same four steps through the Department of Higher Education, and IPER UG's college code for choice filling is INS1465.
