Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur (JLNMC), formerly known as Bhagalpur Medical College, is one of the oldest and most prestigious government medical colleges in Bihar, established in 1971. Named after India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the college is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Spread across a sprawling 209-acre campus on S.R. Rajpath, Bhagalpur, the college has a total faculty strength of 117. It offers 120 MBBS seats and 48 PG (MD/MS/Diploma) seats across 13 disciplines.
