JIIT's cutoff structure is more complex than most private colleges because it runs two parallel admission tracks (JEE rank and 10+2 merit), two campuses with separate cutoff lists, and multiple specialisation-level cutoffs within each campus. Understanding all four dimensions - track, campus, specialisation, and category - is essential for accurate self-assessment. The cutoffs below are for General (Open) category unless otherwise noted; SC and ST categories have separate reserved seats (15% and 7.5% respectively) with lower effective cutoffs.

ECE77.00%
EE-VLSI68.33%
Biotechnology~51.67–70% (wider range due to 50% seat reservation under this route)

Sector 128 (Wish Town Campus) Cutoffs

Sector 128 cutoffs are consistently more accessible than Sector 62 for the same branch - typically by 10,000–30,000 JEE rank positions, and by 2–4 percentage points on the 10+2 merit route. This makes Sector 128 a viable pathway for students who narrowly miss Sector 62 thresholds but still want JIIT's degree, curriculum, and centralised placement outcomes. The key insight: a student getting CSE at Sector 128 receives the same degree, participates in the same placement drives, and graduates with the same JIIT brand on their resume as a Sector 62 CSE student. The only material differences are the physical campus environment and commute dynamics.

Lateral Entry (LEET) Cutoff 2025

JIIT LEET Cutoff 2025 – General Category

How to Read JIIT Cutoffs: Decision Framework

For JEE Main aspirants: A rank between 60,000 and 1,00,000 (approximately 92nd–95th percentile) gives a realistic chance at CSE or M&C at Sector 62 - the most competitive tracks. A rank between 1,00,000 and 2,00,000 should target ECE or IT at Sector 62, or CSE/M&C at Sector 128. A rank between 2,00,000 and 4,00,000 should target ECE, VLSI, or Biotechnology at Sector 62, or ECE/ECM at Sector 128. For 10+2 merit aspirants: 94%+ in PCM opens CSE at Sector 62; 77–93% opens ECE through IT at Sector 62, or CSE at Sector 128. The dual-track system means that a student with a lower JEE rank but a higher 12th percentage may find the 10+2 route more advantageous - and vice versa. Students should calculate their probability in both tracks before concluding they cannot get into their target branch.
