Jhargram Government Medical College and Hospital (JGMCH Jhargram) is a state government medical college established in 2021 (some sources: 2022) by the Government of West Bengal to address the healthcare deficit in Jhargram district — home to significant tribal and underserved populations in western Bengal. Affiliated with West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC), JGMCH Jhargram offers 100 MBBS seats annually. The attached 500-bed government hospital has 700+ daily outpatients, providing comprehensive multi-specialty clinical training.
