JISMSR is run by JIS Group Educational Initiatives — one of Eastern India's largest education groups, with 50+ institutions including JIS University, various engineering and management colleges, and now the JIS Health City (JISMSR + hospital). An MoU was signed between JIS Group and WB Department of Health during the Bengal Global Business Summit.

JISMSR provides clinical training through: (1) its own developing teaching hospital within JIS Health City, Santragachi; and (2) a MoU partnership with Howrah District Hospital — a large government district hospital providing high patient inflow for clinical exposure. MBBS fees approved by WBMCC and vary by quota (State/Management/NRI). Confirm from official WBMCC fee circular for current session. Hostel, mess, and security deposits are extra. Newly established (2023) — fees may be in first-batch introductory rates.
