The College of Pharmacy at JSS University Noida is a dedicated pharmacy institution established in the academic year 2019-20 on the campus of JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Sector 62, Noida. It was founded under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP) — a distinguished educational and social service organization with over six decades of legacy in quality education across India and beyond. The College of Pharmacy was established with a clear vision: to provide quality education in Pharmacy and to produce competent, ethical, and knowledgeable pharmacists to serve the healthcare needs of the country. The establishment of this college in the NCR region specifically aims to cater to the growing demand for pharmacy professionals in North India, carrying forward the proud legacy of JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore (Est. 1973) and JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Tamil Nadu (Est. 1980) — both ranked among the top 10 pharmacy colleges in India by NIRF, ISO certified, NBA accredited, and certified by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), USA. The College of Pharmacy, Noida currently offers two programs: the 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with an approved intake of 100 students, and the 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with an approved intake of 60 students. The B.Pharm program is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The D.Pharm program is approved by the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Lucknow, and PCI. The college also provides a lateral entry pathway to B.Pharm second year (third semester) for D.Pharm graduates. The college is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities including a Pharmaceutics Lab, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab, Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAP) Lab, Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab, Pharmacognosy Lab, Pharmacology Lab, and a Computer Lab. These labs provide students with comprehensive practical exposure aligned with the PCI-prescribed curriculum. The campus also features a Herbal Garden to support pharmacognosy education. The college is led by an experienced faculty of over 30 dedicated members, many of whom hold Ph.D. qualifications and bring decades of expertise in pharmaceutical sciences.
