About Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences

Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Narketpally, is one of the oldest and most respected private medical colleges in Telangana, established in 1999 and promoted by Sri Kamineni Suryanarayana (Kamineni Educational Society). Located at Sreepuram, Narketpally village, Nalgonda District, on NH-65 at the 89th km from Hyderabad and 190th km from Vijayawada, the campus spans 30 acres. KIMS offers 200 MBBS seats, 94 PG seats across 22 departments, and Super Specialty courses. It has over 25 years of academic experience, making it one of the oldest private medical colleges in the state. The teaching hospital — Kamineni General Hospital, Narketpally — has 1,060 beds serving the rural population in and around Narketpally. The 'Sahithi' Central Library is a landmark hexagonal air-conditioned building. The college also hosts a 650-seat auditorium and 1,250-seat theatre, both fully air-conditioned and equipped with digital multimedia systems.
