Karuna Medical College is located at Vilayodi, Chittur, approximately 27 km from Palakkad railway station (45 minutes). The nearest airport is Coimbatore International Airport, Tamil Nadu, about 66 km away (1.5 hrs). Alternate airport: Cochin International Airport (~110 km, ~2.5 hrs). Regular buses operate from Palakkad and Chittur.
The government quota tuition fee is approximately Rs. 7,87,780 per year. The management quota fee is approximately Rs. 6,70,768 per year. NRI quota fee is approximately Rs. 15,00,000 per year. All fees are set by the Kerala Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) and subject to annual revision.
The Karuna teaching hospital has 500 beds across all major clinical departments with 12 air-conditioned operation theatres. It provides comprehensive healthcare including round-the-clock emergency and ICU services, and also serves patients from neighboring Tamil Nadu.
