About K. J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research
K. J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research (KJIAR), Savli, Vadodara, was established in 2015 by Jayka Jan Sahayak Trust as part of the larger K J Campus, which also houses K. J. Institute of Engineering & Technology and S. B. Polytechnic. Set in a lush green, lake-surrounded campus away from urban noise yet well-connected to Vadodara via highway (30 km away), the institute has been recognized as a model of Ayurvedic education in Gujarat since 2017. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, and approved by both the Central Government (NCISM, formerly CCIM) and the State Government, offering the undergraduate BAMS programme with a first-year intake of 60 seats (45 Government Quota and 15 Management Quota). The institute is led by Dean Dr. Manoj Runghe, who brings over 20 years of combined experience in Ayurveda teaching and clinical practice. The attached Kashiba Ayurvedic Hospital, operational since January 2015, is a 60-bedded facility equipped with a modern Operation Theatre, Radiology Department, and Pathology Laboratory, providing pure Ayurvedic treatment across departments including Panchakarma, Stri Roga-Prasuti (Gynecology with antenatal and postnatal care), Kaumarbhritya (Pediatrics), Kayachikitsa (Medicine), Shalya (Surgery), Shalakya (ENT), Yoga, Dental, Physiotherapy, and Emergency services. True to the trust's charitable mission, the hospital offers Ayurvedic treatment free of cost to needy patients from Savli Taluka and surrounding areas. The campus also features a well-equipped herbal garden, a traditional in-house pharmacy, separate boys' and girls' hostels with canteen facilities, and dedicated college bus services from Vadodara.
