KMC Medical College and Hospital, Maharajganj (KMCMC Maharajganj), is a landmark institution — the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) medical college in Uttar Pradesh — established in 2024 by the Shanti Foundation under an MoU signed in 2022 with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 2024. Located in Village Kandh, Maharajganj, UP, on a 20-acre campus, KMCMC is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The KMC Digital Hospital (separate campus at Rudrapur village) is the main attached teaching hospital with 665+ beds, providing 24x7 emergency, ICU, NICU, OTs, MRI, CT, USG, blood bank, and Ayushman Bharat-empanelled care at affordable rates. An MoU was signed in 2022 between the Government of UP and the Shanti Foundation. It operates at the interface of private (Shanti Foundation) and government oversight.
