Mahamaya Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College (MRAMC), Ambedkarnagar, is a government medical college established in 2011 under the Special Component Action Plan by the Government of Uttar Pradesh — primarily to provide tertiary healthcare and medical education to the historically underserved Ambedkarnagar district and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Named after Kumari Mayawati (CM of UP 2007–2012, colloquially associated with Mahamaya). Currently affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow (previously RMLAU Faizabad), and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Mentored by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), Lucknow. MRAMC is spread over 89.77 acres with 100 MBBS seats and MD/MS PG courses (50% AIQ + 50% UP SQ). The attached 400-bed teaching hospital provides multi-specialty care. Faculty: 77 members. Students: 500.
