It is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). With 100 MBBS seats and MD/MS/Diploma PG courses (50% AIQ + 50% UP SQ via NEET-PG), ASMC Deoria is the only medical college in Deoria district, catering to the healthcare and medical education needs of eastern Uttar Pradesh's Deoria region.
