Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS), Bachupally, is a private medical college established in 2019 by the Mamata Educational Society (founded May 1992 by Sri Puvvada Nageswara Rao). The Mamata group is headquartered in Khammam and offers healthcare and education across Telangana through its two medical colleges — Mamata Medical College, Khammam (est. 1998) and this newer campus at Bachupally, Hyderabad. MAMS Bachupally received provisional KNRUHS affiliation for 150 MBBS seats from AY 2019-20. Located in Bachupally, Malkajgiri, Hyderabad, the campus spans 37 acres — 9 km from Gullaguda Railway Station and 11 km from Lingampally Bus Stop. The campus features two auditoriums (180 seats each), labs and museums for Anatomy, Histology, Physiology, Biochemistry, and a central lab. MAMS Bachupally offers 150 MBBS seats and 98 PG MD/MS seats across multiple departments. Sports facilities include volleyball, lawn tennis, table tennis, shuttle-badminton, cricket, and gymnasium.
