Eligibility Criteria
10+2 with PCB and English; minimum 50% marks (40% SC/ST/OBC); minimum age 17 years as on December 31; valid NEET UG score; Nagaland domicile for state quota; medically fit
Admission Process
MBBS admissions via two routes: (A) 15% AIQ via MCC counselling (mcc.nic.in): register, fill choices including NIMSR Kohima, seat allotment, download allotment letter, report to college. (B) 85% Nagaland State Quota via DTE Kohima counselling: Nagaland domicile candidates register on DTE Kohima portal after NEET results, fill preferences, seat allotment across rounds; download allotment and report to college. Documents: NEET UG admit card + scorecard, allotment letter, 10+2 marksheet and certificate, SSC (10th) certificate for DOB, Nagaland domicile/inner line permit (for state quota), tribal/caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhar, 8 passport-size photographs, medical fitness certificate, transfer/migration certificate.

Important Notice

NEET UG 2026 scheduled May 3, 2026. NIMSR is the first and only medical college in Nagaland — state quota is exclusively reserved for Nagaland domicile candidates. Inner Line Permit (ILP) may be required for non-Nagaland residents visiting the state. For AIQ seats, no domicile restriction applies. Service bond obligations for NIMSR MBBS graduates — verify current terms with DTE Kohima / Government of Nagaland Health Department at time of admission. No capitation or management quota.
