IMPORTANT VERIFICATION NOTE. The institute's own pages publish three different highest-package figures for the same cycle: the Placements page body states INR 21 LPA, an alternate block on the same page and the Admissions page state INR 20 LPA, and the Placements page meta description states INR 32 LPA with an average of INR 8.2 LPA. The homepage carries both INR 21 LPA and INR 20 LPA in different sliders. Separately, the homepage advertises a '100% Placement Record' with an asterisk while the Placements page itself reads '100% Placement Assistance' - a materially different claim. The downloadable official placement report should be treated as the source of record, and no single figure published here should be republished without confirming it against that report.
Reported recruiters span consulting and professional services (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, Bain), banking and financial services (HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra, Axis Bank, S&P Global), technology (TCS, Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Amazon), FMCG (Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Marico), Indian conglomerates (Adani Group, Tata, Mahindra, Larsen & Toubro) and new-economy firms (Zomato, Razorpay, upGrad). Individual placement stories published by the institute record offers at S&P Global, L&T, Zomato, PwC, Shivalik and Divya Bhaskar.
Placement preparation runs through the Narayana Employability Enhancement Program (NEEP), a twelve-stage sequence covering self-awareness, core strength analysis, field guidance, CV building, portfolio development, group discussion preparation, aptitude preparation, mock interviews, pre-placement workshops, grooming, personal branding and final corporate readiness. The summer internship cycle commences in January with the drive in the second week of March; final placements commence in September with the drive in the first week of November. The placement team is led by a Senior Manager for Career Services with dedicated managers for placement, industry relations and corporate relations.
Historical yearly trends published by the institute show a placement rate of 40% with a top package of INR 12 lakh in 2020-21, 60% and INR 17.5 lakh in 2021-22, 80% and INR 20 lakh in 2022-23, and 70% and INR 19.5 lakh in 2023-24 - figures that sit below the currently marketed 100% headline and are worth reading alongside it.
