National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NIT Nagaland or NITN) was established in 2010 as one of the ten newly approved NITs by the Government of India under the 11th Five-Year Plan. It is an Institute of National Importance recognized by AICTE and UGC, located in Chumukedima, Dimapur, Nagaland. NIT Nagaland's campus spans approximately 291-300 acres and is built on hilly terrain surrounded by beautiful scenery and tropical rainforest flora and fauna.
