Admission to the BE programme at NHCE follows the standard Karnataka engineering admission route. Candidates must appear for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority, or the COMEDK Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET). Government and KCET-quota seats are then allotted through centralised KEA counselling based on rank, category, and seat availability, while COMEDK-quota seats are filled through COMEDK's own counselling process. A portion of seats is also available directly through the college under the management quota, generally at a higher fee, for candidates who did not secure a seat through centralised counselling.
