Admission Process

All candidates apply online for the NIFT Entrance Examination via https://exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/. B.Des. and M.Des. candidates take both GAT and CAT; B.F.Tech. and M.F.M. candidates take only the GAT. Shortlisted B.Des. candidates then appear for a Situation Test, while PG (M.Des./M.F.M.) candidates appear for a Personal Interview. Final admission and campus allotment (including Hyderabad) is through NIFT's centralized counselling based on the combined merit score.

Important Notice

As per the official NIFT Fee Structure 2026 document, Hyderabad falls under the fee group covering Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai for NRI-category fee purposes; Non-NRI (Regular/Artisan/Ward of Artisan) fees are uniform across all NIFT campuses.
