The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Jodhpur, has grown from a humble beginning in 2010 at a temporary campus at Sojati Gate into a thriving hub of design excellence, now flourishing from its own splendid permanent campus at Karwar in the Blue City of Rajasthan. Under the able leadership of Director Prof. G.H.S. Prasad, NIFT Jodhpur has built a strong and celebrated legacy as a knowledge partner to state governments in the design development and global positioning of India's rich handloom and handicraft heritage. As a statutory institute empowered by the NIFT Act, 2006, to award its own prestigious degrees, the campus offers dynamic four-year undergraduate B.Des./B.F.Tech. programmes in Fashion Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication and Apparel Production, along with a highly regarded two-year postgraduate M.F.M. programme. 3 CoursesPass in Class 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized Central/State Board, in any stream, OR a pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by NIOS with a minimum of 5 subjects, OR a 3- or 4-year AICTE/State Board of Technical Education-recognized diploma after Class 10. Selection via GAT and CAT, followed by a Situation Test.
Pass in Class 10+2 (or equivalent) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Selection is based on the GAT (General Ability Test).
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Shortlisted on the basis of GAT (Section A & B) and Personal Interview.
