Patronage Institute of Professional Studies (PIPS) is a private, non-profit, quality-conscious educational institution located in Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 2004 under the visionary leadership of Chairman Dr. K.R. Sharma, the institute is a trend-setting centre of professional education that focuses on providing equal opportunities for the development of human potential across all sections of society. The institute is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, one of the premier state universities of Uttar Pradesh, and is recognised by both the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f). The institute offers four flagship undergraduate programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with an intake of 200 students, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), and Bachelor of Science in Home Science (B.Sc). The B.Ed programme is the cornerstone course of the institute, preparing future educators with strong pedagogical skills, value systems, and practical teaching experience through a structured practice teaching curriculum. BBA and BCA programmes are designed to produce industry-ready graduates with strong foundations in management, technology, and communication. B.Sc in Home Science trains students in nutrition, family management, and community welfare. In terms of infrastructure, the institute boasts a well-stocked library with over 8,809 books for the B.Ed department alone (2,798 titles), 1,097 books for D.El.Ed, 17 subscribed educational journals, encyclopaedias, and a dedicated reading room. The computer laboratory has 30 systems with Pentium IV processors, 512 MB RAM, 80 GB hard disks, 15-inch LCD screens, networked via LAN, and connected to the internet via an RF link. The cafeteria serves nutritious meals on campus. The Health and Sports Centre is equipped for cricket, football, hockey, badminton, basketball, table tennis, chess, carrom, handball, yoga, and first aid. The institute strongly supports the Government of India's anti-smoking and anti-ragging campaigns. An Anti-Ragging Committee is in place and all provisions of the Supreme Court's order dated May 2001 regarding anti-ragging are fully implemented on campus.
