Eligibility Criteria
10+2 PCB; ≥50% General; ≥40% SC/ST/OBC; NEET UG; age ≥17; WB domicile for 85% state quota (10+ years WB residency OR passed Class 10+12 from WB)
Admission Process
State quota (85%): WBMCC online counselling (wbmcc.nic.in). 3 rounds + stray vacancy. Registration fee: ₹2,000 (General), ₹1,500 (Reserved). Admission fee: ₹1,000 (non-refundable). Fee payable: ₹6,500 for all categories (2025). AIQ (15%): MCC (mcc.nic.in). Physical document verification at RG Kar Medical College / Medical College Kolkata / IPGME&R Kolkata.

Important Notice

Note on fees: The ₹6,500 published fee is from the 2025 State Quota 2024 admission notice. Remaining costs (hostel, mess, library, caution deposits) are charged separately. Refundable fees may be retained if candidate doesn't upgrade. Named after Prafulla Chandra Sen, former WB Chief Minister.
