The PIMR Admission Test is mandatory, and for the merit list the institute considers the higher percentile obtained either in the PIMR Admission Test or in a national or state-level management entrance examination such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or ATMA. Seats are allocated according to merit, availability and the preferences filled by the candidate. The expected entrance cutoff trends are discussed separately.

Candidates register on the portal, submit the application form, upload documents, pay the application fee and then attend a group discussion and personal interview, along with a test where applicable. After the admission offer is released, the seat is confirmed by submitting documents and paying the fee. BBA, BCA and B.Com applicants are generally expected to have passed Class 12 with at least 50 percent marks, whereas BAJMC applicants should check the higher percentage requirement published in the current brochure. The year-wise fee structure should be reviewed before payment.
The Department of Law admits students to BA LL.B, BBA LL.B, B.Com LL.B, LL.B and LL.M programmes on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination along with the institute’s selection process.
